Chidinma Oli holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of York, and is a PhD student in Epidemiology at the University of Florida. Her research interests are in women’s health and health disparities, focusing on how reproductive and gynecologic health conditions, including endometriosis and menopause-related experiences, shape long-term cardiovascular and mental health outcomes, particularly among underserved populations. She is also interested in the role of hormonal and surgical treatments (e.g., hysterectomy/oophorectomy)  in women’s health; alcohol consumption; and quality of life among women living with HIV.

She is a T-32 predoctoral trainee with the Southern HIV and Alcohol Research Consortium (SHARC), where she serves as Community Engagement Lead and contributes to research on alcohol use behaviors and HIV-related health outcomes. She has presented her work at the American Heart Association Epidemiology and Lifestyle Scientific Sessions, the Society for Epidemiologic Research, and the American Public Health Association, and has won several presentation awards.

Chidinma is the founder of Inspire Her Afrika, a registered nonprofit advancing mentorship and community for early-career women across Africa. Her work with Inspire Her Afrika has been recognized with the University of York Alumni Rising Star Award. She is deeply committed to building research capacity and advancing evidence-based approaches to women’s health in Africa and globally.
