Mr Christus Cito Miderho is an interdisciplinary researcher whose work focuses on One Health approaches to food safety, nutrition, toxicology, environmental health and public health, with the aim of generating evidence to strengthen health systems and improve health and development outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. He has over nine years of experience leading and contributing to multidisciplinary research initiatives, including cross-sectional surveys, implementation research, programme monitoring and evaluation, impact evaluations, biomonitoring studies, mixed-methods research, and systematic reviews. He has worked and established collaborative links across the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Food Science, Nutrition and Technology at the University of Nairobi.

Christus is a lecturer at the Catholic University of Bukavu and the Institut Supérieur Pédagogique de Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology at the University of Nairobi, where he contributes to research training and the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has collaborated with universities, international research institutions, and development organisations, including Development Gateway: An IREX Venture, UNICEF, SNV, and Water For People.
