

Dr Norita Mdege is a strategic thinker and qualitative research expert with 10 years of experience in development research. She has led various projects covering many issues, including health, food security, political conflict, media, inequalities and climate change. She is passionate about building an inclusive future through processes that integrate intersectional identities into addressing societal challenges. She has worked in various African countries and multicultural and multidisciplinary environments, which has broadened her knowledge and skills and enabled her to offer a unique perspective. She is the author of the book ‘Cinematic Portrayals of African Women and Girls in Political Conflict’, published by Routledge.
