Women, Digital Activism and Everyday Political Agency: African Feminist Perspectives from Zimbabwe | Centre for Research in Health and Development | CRIHDev

Led by Dr Norita Mdege, this project explores how women in Zimbabwe engage in political life through everyday practices, digital activism, satire and storytelling. It pays particular attention to how digital media platforms create opportunities for women to articulate their perspectives, build solidarity, engage in collective action, and contribute to public debates on governance, accountability, public services, and social justice. Additionally, the project explores how satire, humour, and storytelling reveal forms of political participation that are often overlooked in conventional analyses of politics.
