Dr Christelle Flore Makougoum Tchoupé is a Senior Development Economist, Statistician and Evaluation Specialist with over 15 years’ experience. She leads evidence-generation initiatives to strengthen policy and programme decision-making for governments, multilateral organisations, NGOs and research institutions across Africa (Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo) and Europe (France, Belgium and Luxembourg). Her work spans health, education, agriculture, nutrition, youth development, gender equality, social protection, governance and humanitarian response.
Christelle brings advanced methodological expertise in population-based survey design, implementation and analysis; impact and quasi-experimental evaluations; mixed methods research; qualitative research; evidence synthesis; and theory of change development. She leads complex studies, develops monitoring and evaluation systems, manages multidisciplinary teams and translates evidence into actionable recommendations for senior decision-makers.
Christelle is passionate about research capacity strengthening, and helping organisations generate credible evidence, improve programme performance and make better decisions through high-quality research and evaluation. She works fluently in English and French and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams on complex development challenges.
